Guess what? If you list your contact information on your Internet weblog, you get a lot of lame junk mail from people who want to sell you page views and domain names and "exchange links." This one slipped through the Gmail spam filter...

Interesting...I got a similar email except his address was listed as 1040 Hosbrook RD., not DR. I'm glad I did some research and found this site. I'm just wondering if follow-through actually results in a legitimate domain sale.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised to find out that gmail wasn't able to filter this spam. Could they be using a template? I also noticed that the email avoided typical spam words like free or earn money.
ReplyDeleteGmail's spam filter caught a similar message to my domain. According to a Google search, the Cincinnati, OH postal address is associated with several fake web sites owned by one Greg Martini at nowyo.com; Why would anyone do business with this identity? Find the person(s) responsible and shut them down!
